A Story of Publishing
Estetica was founded in 1946 by Mino Pissimiglia in Turin and was the first beauty magazine targeted at both hairstylists and their clients. It quickly became the leading Italian publication in the industry. In 2023, Estetica underwent a relaunch and became EsteticaHair: an innovative – interactive – way to experience industry news: The QR codes on the magazine’s pages are easily accessible via smartphones and tablets and offer readers additional multimedia content (photos, video galleries, collections…). Since its founding, the publishing group Edizioni Esav has continued to grow and innovate. The magazine is published in 19 editions and distributed in more than 50 countries worldwide, with a circulation of over 400,000 copies. Other publications by Edizioni Esav include Allure, a beauty magazine specifically for the perfume industry.
